Woven by 40 year old Prakash from Tamil Nadu, the sari introduces nuanced elements such as extra-weft checks, a subtle tissue-like body, and refined thazhampoo motifs, details not traditionally seen in Kerala’s vocabulary and a marvel to execute on pure cotton.
