This unique light green Kanchipuram silk saree is a celebration of colour, craftsmanship, and heritage. Handwoven in Kanchipuram using pure mulberry silk with a 2-ply warp and 4-ply weft, the saree features delicate lines of elongated diamond motifs and tiny dotted accents woven throughout the body, creating a graceful sense of movement and texture. The borders are adorned with elegant floral motifs in shades of lavender and pink, framed by a subtle lavender selvedge, while the pallu showcases an ornate floral composition inspired by the traditional Kamala Kodi motif. Notably, the saree contains no zari; instead, every motif is meticulously woven using complementary coloured silk yarns, allowing the richness of colour, texture, and weave structure to take centre stage. Woven over more than 200 person-hours, this heirloom-quality drape combines luxurious comfort with remarkable durability, making it suitable for both special occasions and treasured family celebrations.
