The Teal Bloom Collared Shirt Dress is crafted from a specially selected 100% cotton fabric, hand block printed with vibrant crimson floral motifs inspired by the enduring traditions of Indian craftsmanship. Set against a rich teal blue ground, the bold florals create a striking interplay of colour, movement, and artistry.

Designed for effortless elegance and all-day comfort, the dress features a classic shirt collar, a button-up placket finished with natural sea shell buttons, and relaxed elbow-length sleeves with generous armholes that allow ease of movement. The silhouette is gently shaped through the shoulders and bodice before falling into a soft, easy shape with a subtle flare that creates graceful movement without excess volume.

What makes this garment particularly special is the fabric itself. Woven from fine 60s × 60s cotton yarns with a balanced 92 × 92 construction, this cloth was chosen not simply for its softness, but for its ability to endure. Unlike many commercially produced fabrics designed primarily for cost efficiency, this fabric was selected to offer lasting comfort, durability, and performance. The closely woven structure creates a smooth, refined surface that showcases the hand block printing beautifully while ensuring the garment retains its character and elegance through years of wear and repeated washing.

Every detail has been thoughtfully considered. A pure fine cotton detached lining enhances comfort and breathability while preserving the lightness of the garment. Fine French seams provide a clean and durable interior finish. Hidden contrast maroon facings on the collar, sleeve bands, and inner hem reveal moments of craftsmanship visible only upon closer inspection. The shaped inner hem facing stabilises the garment, helps maintain its silhouette, and ensures a beautifully finished interior.
