Known for its sheer texture, gentle lustre, and ethereal lightness, the Chanderi weave combines an untwisted silk warp with a fine cotton or silk weft, creating fabrics that are weightless yet strong. Borders are woven on traditional dobby looms, featuring age-old motifs, temple steps, floral vines, coins, and geometric lines drawn from local architecture and faith.
