Parvai Block Printed Linen Sari - Raag
Our handwoven linen saris begin with flax yarns imported from Europe and travel to Bhagalpur, where the fibre is processed, spun and woven by eighth-generation weaving families whose knowledge of natural fibres has been passed down through generations. Many of these saris then move to artisan communities across India for hand block printing and natural dyeing. Woven from premium 80s Lea linen, they are lightweight, breathable and naturally soft against the skin, becoming gentler and more fluid with every wear. Made in small artisan-led batches and thoughtfully finished, each sari carries the work of many hands, from farmer to spinner, weaver, printer, dyer and finisher. Designed for everyday living, Parvai linen saris are comfortable, strong and made to be worn often, loved deeply and treasured for years.

A few things we would like you to know
Care
Air your Parvai sari after wear and store it in a clean cotton or muslin cover, away from direct sunlight, moisture and plastic. Refold it from time to time so that the same creases do not remain under stress, especially along zari-rich borders and pallus. Heavier saris are best stored folded or gently rolled rather than hung for long periods. Clean only when necessary, preferably through a trusted specialist familiar with fine silk and handwoven textiles.
Handwoven Character
Every Parvai textile is handmade and may carry slight variations in weave, texture, colour, motif placement, finish or dimensions. These are natural to the making process and are part of the textile’s character, not defects. Measurements and weights are approximate.
Colour
